So it seems that these long road trips are becoming a tradition for our family. We started when Hattie was only 3 months old and have gone on one each summer. Hattie has always been the best traveler at each age ( 3 months, 16 months, 2 and now 3). Then we have Hollyn!! Yah she doesn't like being strapped in her carseat for more than a short time so going on 10 hour trips in one day was a bit challenging. Our first trip to Kansas was very hard....we even thought about leaving her there!!: ) But then she got better each trip. She did grow ver attached to her "mine" ( her paci) as you can tell in the pictures. Now we are taking that away except during naps and nighttime since her new daycare doesn't want kids to have them during the day.
Here are some pictures of our awesome road trip!! We ended up visiting all our best friends from college and high school and got to see lots of family!! We had a GREAT time! Thanks to all who hosted us! We love you lots!
Stops at Mcdonalds were lots of fun!
First stop: Kansas to see the Marshes! We went to a fun zoo and the kids had fun playing together. Hattie and Cael were smitten with eachother ( and that makes their mommies very happy!!: )
2nd stop- Spearfish, SD for two weeks to stay with Nana and Papa!! We were busy the whole time and it was fun doing the touristy things that we didn't do much when we lived there. Have I mentioned I love staying with my in-laws? They are the best!! Thank you so much for everything, Rick and Cathy!
