Home Sweet Home!

We did it! We finally got moved into our first house. Brent and I both agree that we will NEVER move while I am 9 months pregnant! Wow it was alot of work but we really wanted to get everything in before baby comes. We also thought having a house warming party on Saturday would be good motivation...and it was!

We still have a few small things to do but for the most part we feel comfortable and settled. It looks like little Hattie might not make it to April after all. My last dr. appointment Brent and I were pretty shocked to find out she is already over 8lbs! I go back this week and will probably be induced within the next week or so! Wow! That means this will be my last week at school, so I will be working hard to make sure everything is ready while I am gone.

Baby, Baby, Baby!!
Brent and I had a very busy week that basically revolved around getting ready for our little girl! We were both surprised when our schools threw us showers! Well Brent ended up finding out about his shower, but I was completely shocked when my class planned this adorable shower for me. Who knew that a group of 4th graders could actually keep a secret? Apparently they, along with the rest of my school, had known about the shower and kept it a secret. On Friday I got a letter from the principal telling me to let my class go out in the hall, close the door, and count to 30, then follow the signs. I ended up going to a room that was all decorated with my class and parents waiting. We played games, ate food, and opened presents! Wow am I ever lucky to have the class and parents that I have. Just thinking about all the work and planning shows how lucky baby Hattie and I are.

Brent's teachers also did a lot of planning for his shower and it turned out great. We have so many diapers, wipes, etc. I actually feel like we are almost ready for her to come!! I said almost!!

This weekend Kim spent locked in the nursery painting, painting, and painting. The nursery is so adorable I am going to go sit in it everynight to relax and imagine having a baby in there. Kim spent so much time doing this and we love the room so much!!

Now for the rest of the house....Brent and I have all week of for Spring Break so we plan to get lots done. We are going to try to have it all decorated for a house warming party this weekend. We will put pictures up soon! Atleast we are ready for the baby though, even if we had to bring her home to a very unorganized house!

Baby Nursery...

this little flower...oh this little flower...Kim asked if I could put one little stem on this flower and I thought, sure I should be able to do that....wrong..I messed it up and Kim had to fix it. Needless to say, I did not get the painting ability ( darn!)

Baby Shower!!

Finally got the pictures from my shower last weekend! My sisters threw me such a nice shower, we all had so much fun! I am so excited about all the nice presents we got! I think we are almost ready!

We close on our house this Friday and will begin painting and getting her nursery ready. EVERYBODY tells me that I will not make it to April with this baby. Ok...what is that supposed to mean? : )
But I am with them. I am measuring a little big ahead and I am starting to swell up. I really hope we can atleast get moved in the house. I swear we are crazy for doing all this at the same time! I will put pics up of our house next week!

my amazing sisters!

playing a game where the girls cut a piece of yarn and see who is closest to the size around my belly. They all cut it too big except one...again...everybody must think I am huge!
