Hollyn's Crawlin'

Yes, little baby girl started crawling about two weeks ago ( I have been bad about posting)! She isn't listening to mommy- because I told her she doesn't have to hurry and learn to crawl and walk. : ) It is so different than the first born, where we were so excited and couldn't wait for Hattie to crawl and walk. Now I just want Hollyn to stay my little baby. But Hollyn is looking like she is going to take Hattie's "fast approach" to things; crawling before seven months and now I wonder if she will be walking by 9 months?
Big sister has also had an exciting week of potty training!! She has been wearing big girl undies and is doing good at going potty in her potty chair! Lately Hattie has been saying the funniest things, there are too many to write, but her are a few:

The other day I was so excited to tell her we were going to Chuck E Cheese when she woke up from her nap. She said " No, mommy I stay home. Chuck E will get me"
When she was playing hide and seek Brent wasn't finding her so she yelled " Daddy" no response then yelled " Dad" no answer so finally yelled " Brent". I asked her what Daddy's name is and she said " Brent". I asked her mine and she didn't know....I guess she hears " Brent" alot more than " Katie" : )
We had a thunder storm the other night and she came down stairs and said " Mom, I want to sit in the closet, thunder get me". Haha!!

My mom and niece flew into town on Friday! We are so happy to have them down here. My dad and other nieces and nephew will be down in July! YAY!!

Sunday Brent had a fun Father's Day. OUr church had a big " Dadfest" after church where they had delicious brisket, a car show, prizes and lots of fun stuff! Thank you Brent for being the best Daddy to our little girls. I couldn't ask for a better husband or dad!

My mom, Hattie, Marina, Kirsten and I had a girls day and went downtown Dallas to see the Children's Aquarium, see Sara at her office, eat at McDonald's, went shopping and finally got yogurt!

Hattie was the only one who would touch all the animals!!

MOPS groups at Chick-Fil-A where they have a toddler time every Friday and the kids get a free lunch and get to do a little craft.

S-U-M-M-E-R!!!

We have only been out of school for a few days, and are already having lots of fun! I remember last year our first week of summer break all three of us were really sick with ear infections, bronchitis, and sinus infections. The crazy thing is that was the last time any of us have been sick ( except for a few runny noses, coughs, tummy aches etc). We went all school year without any any trips to the dr. except for well visits! I know I need to knock on wood. Plus that will change next year when Hattie starts preschool. The girls aren't going to daycare at all this summer, so we will get lots of good family bonding time together. I love it!
We have already been enjoying grill outs, trips to the pool, and a little bit of sleeping in! My mom gets in next week and she is bringing my niece, Kirsten. Then around the 4th of July my teenage nieces and nephews are flying down with my dad! We are all going to be so happy to have them back in Texas! Hattie has been asking about her Papas, Gaga, and Nana!! And in just over two weeks we get to see Brent's family and our amazing friends, The Marshes, when we all meet in Branson , MS! We are getting so excited!
