Still Finding New Places....

We have been in PR for almost two years, but we are still finding new places! We are down to 3 weekends left after this one! Oh my goodness!! We have something planned each weekend. This weekend we wanted to check out the west coast of the island. We found this new place called Palmas del Mar. It was a very rich area with million dollar condos, golf courses, and nice beaches. Even though we were a little out of place, we decided to go to their beach. It was beautiful. Kelly and I went body boarding, but the waves were a little rough. On the way home we stopped at a few restaurants and bars on the side of the road. Mostly to take pictures and drink pina colodas!
Now we are getting ready for my sister, nephew, and brother in law to come on Wednesday!! We have a short week, because teacher's day is on Friday so we don't have school!! YEAH!!
We still haven't heard anything about jobs, but hopefully soon...we will let ya know! Have a super week!

BONFIRE!!!

Friday night the teachers went to a beach and had a bonfire! We had so much fun taking pictures! Yesterday we went to a nice lake and river. We hiked a to a waterfall, and lots of boys were jumping of the edge. I can't get those pictures to upload...I will try again soon!!
Brent and I just got back from the beach this morning to take our dogs on a walk/run! THey love it...and there is only a few weeks left. We will be moving back 4 weeks from Wednesday. We should hear about jobs this week. We will let you all know what happens!! Have a good week!!

Kendall and Darcie's Visit!!

My cousin, Darcie and her boyfriend came to PR last week! It was nice to see Darcie and meet Kendall. The last time I saw Darcie was in 2001! We went all over the island, getting lost at about every place we went. We went to the Bacardi distillry, old San Juan, caves, water hole, and lots of beaches. Darcie and Kendall made an exciting trip to our school to meet the kids. My kids we SO excited to have visitors, they asked all sorts of questions. NOw they are all getting ready for Braedon's big visit in a week and a half!

Girl's Trip to Old San Juan!!

Friday after school we had a teacher "meeting" at a little restaurant. All of us teachers seemed to have a crazy week with the kiddos. I think they must be getting anxious for the school year to end. Five and a half weeks left, but who's counting?

On Saturday, Kelly and I decided we needed to go to Old San Juan one last time to take pictures. We love Old San Juan, it is so beautiful. We enjoyed being able to have a relaxing day strolling down the streets taking pictures.

Brent saw the picture of this girl...and said, " wow, she's bow legged!" hahaha

this little lady charged us 50 cents to use her bathroom. It was cute because she had so many decorations, lotions, etc. Too bad she wasn't that nice. She yelled at Kelly for putting her purse down on the floor!!
