We had a nice surprise yesterday and today....snow days! Which means we got to stay home and cuddle with Hattie and Hollyn instead of going to work! YAY! We didn't get to sleep in at all because the girls got up at 5 one morning and 6 the next morning. Normally we have to wake them up when we have school...go figure! : )
It is crazy that on Saturday the temps were close to 80 degrees. We met up at a park with my sisters and nieces and nephew and strolled around the lake and let the kiddos play in the park. Then we all ate lunch together. We knew we better get out and enjoy the weather because they said a cold front would be coming through. Now we are at 19 degrees and that is the coldest it has been in Dallas since 1996! It just happens to be when all sorts of people are coming in for the Super Bowl too! The ice was really bad here so I am very thankful we didn't have to get out and drive in that nasty stuff. We know how to drive on ice, but I wouldn't trust that many Texans know how to.
Here are some pictures of our days spent inside...
Hollyn at 2.5 months! She started sleeping through the night this week! Woopie!
Hattie helping change a diaper! : )
