GOOD BYE PUERTO RICO...HELLO TEXAS!!

Wow it has already been two weeks since we moved from Puerto Rico to Texas ( sorry this took me so long)! It is finally starting to sink in that we are going to live here and not go back to Puerto Rico. We are slowly getting are lives starting here...one thing at a time. We should be hearing about jobs soon, then we can begin looking for houses!! I plan on keeping this blog up. I know it won't be as exciting as our lives were in Puerto Rico, but we will try!! We should have quite a few big things happen soon!!
Okay...now back to the last blog post of Puerto Rico....
Kelly and I had been saying that we were dreading the day we would say good bye for almost the entire two years. When the days came, it really didn't seem like they were happening. We knew it would be hard saying good bye to all our friends we made, but it was actually harder than we thought. Some of these people had become family to us. We had one final party that some of the teachers organized. It was a great way to end our two years. I have said it before, but these people are really awesome and FUN!! I already miss them!!
I am sure all of you know that the hardest part about saying good bye to Puerto Rico would be saying good bye to our dear friends and neighbors, the Marshes!! Not many people can really understand the kind of relationship we had with these two. Being so far from our families, we really grew close to Kelly and Courtney. We saw them at school, at home, on the weekends. It would be weird to not see them atleast a few times everyday for the entire time we were down there. We bonded from the beginning and our time there would have been SO different with out those two. I know that we made a friendship that will last forever. The only things between us is Oklahoma...and it really isn't that far! As you can imagine, our good byes were tear filled and very difficult. Kelly and Courtney left in the morning, and we left if the afternoon. I had the strangest feeling waking up that morning and sitting outside on our patio and seeing their down closed!! Things will never be the same as our life was at Casa Benny, but we will always have our memories ( and there are many good ones) and cherish our time spent there!!
